PokeAlert · last updated 1 September 2026
PokeAlert is a restock-alert app for trading card products. This policy explains exactly what the app handles. It is short because the app collects very little.
The products you choose to track, your region and card-game selection, your feed filters, and whether you have completed onboarding are stored locally on your device. Deleting the app removes them.
If you enable alerts, Apple issues a push token for your device and Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) uses it to deliver notifications. Alerts are sent to topics — one per product — rather than to you individually, so we do not hold a profile of who tracks what. You can turn notifications off at any time in iOS Settings.
When the app loads the catalog, restock feed or release calendar, our servers receive the request along with your IP address and the region you selected, as any web request does. We use this only to serve the response. We do not build user profiles from it.
Tapping a product opens the retailer's own page inside the app. Once there, that retailer's privacy policy applies to your activity on their site. PokeAlert is not affiliated with any retailer.
The app relies on Google Firebase Cloud Messaging for push delivery and Google Cloud for the API that serves stock data. They process data on our behalf under their own terms.
PokeAlert is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
If this policy changes, the date above changes with it, and material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
